KB Financial Group Inc. (105560) will hold its renamed Golden Life Championship from September 10 through 13, Yonhap reported Friday. The KLPGA major will take place at Blackstone Golf Club Icheon and use a newly commissioned trophy.
KB changed the tournament's name from the KB Financial Star Championship. Eight group affiliates will operate financial-service booths, and 120 leading domestic players are scheduled to compete in the four-day event.
The company's market capitalisation was ₩61 trillion at Friday's close. KB-sponsored golfers will also coach local junior prospects during the tournament featuring 120 players.
