Lotte Energy Materials Corporation (020150) completed the sale of a 90% stake in Lotte Ecowall on Thursday. Dailian reported that Lilson Private Equity bought the stake for ₩170.8 billion under an agreement signed in May.
The company said it would use the proceeds for its copper foil business, including higher value products. Its Iksan plant will strengthen production capabilities for circuit foil used in AI data centers and other advanced products.
The Malaysian production base will expand battery foil output for energy storage systems and other global customers. The company's market capitalisation was ₩1.9 trillion at Friday's close.
