Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd. (055550) unit Shinhan Bank joined a Gangwon financial support agreement on Friday. Dailian reported the signing with provincial officials and government agencies at the bank's headquarters on the same day.
The partners will establish a center combining financial advice with debt adjustment and employment and welfare services. Shinhan Bank will develop regional financial products with preferential interest rates for eligible users of the support services.
The agreement also includes outreach consultations for residents who cannot visit a center and training exchanges for counselors. The company's market capitalisation was ₩51.8 trillion at Friday's close.
