GC Biopharma Corp. Receives Korean Approval for Flu Vaccine Trial - Newsis

GC Biopharma Corp. (006280) received Korean approval for a phase 2/3 trial of its GC3114B flu vaccine. Newsis reported Friday that the study will assess safety and immune responses in adults aged 65 or older.

The vaccine candidate contains more antigen than a standard dose flu vaccine, according to the company's announcement. Researchers will compare the candidate directly with an active control vaccine under the approved clinical trial design.

The company said phase 2 dosing would begin this half, with phase 3 expanding to multiple countries. The company's market capitalisation was ₩1.5 trillion at Friday's close.
