GC Corp. (005250) affiliate GC WellBeing reported phase 3 results for partner Raziel Therapeutics' injectable fat reduction drug. Newsis reported Thursday that the companies said the Chinese trial met its main efficacy and safety endpoints.
The trial enrolled 480 adults with fat beneath the chin and tested Raziel's injectable candidate against placebo. The company reported that one treatment cycle met primary and secondary efficacy measures at the 84 day assessment.
GC WellBeing holds the exclusive Korean license and maintains its partnership with Raziel through a strategic equity investment. The company's market capitalisation was ₩0.5 trillion at Friday's close.
