DOOSAN ENERBILITY CO., LTD. Expands Search for Missing Nepal Workers - Yonhap

DOOSAN ENERBILITY CO., LTD. (034020) expanded its search for missing workers in Nepal, Yonhap reported Friday. Nine Korean employees remained missing after an August 26 flood struck the Upper Trishuli 1 hydropower construction site.

Six worked for the contractor and three for Korea South-East Power, a Korea Electric Power Corporation (015760) subsidiary. The power company deployed 36 search personnel on Friday, including 25 ground searchers, and secured six drones with special cameras.

The contractor expanded its helicopter search downstream after searches around the power station offices and upper dam produced no significant results. The company's market capitalisation was ₩50.7 trillion at Friday's close.
