Shinsegae Co., Ltd. (004170) affiliate Shinsegae Simon opened a sports and outdoor hall at its Paju outlet, Newsis reported Friday. The Urban Sports Field occupies about 1,500 square meters on the second floor and brings ten brands into one area.
The hall includes eight newly added brands, raising the outlet's sports and outdoor brand count from 32 to 40. Musinsa Standard Sports and Gregory entered the outlet market for the first time, while Helinox opened its second outlet store.
The new area groups sportswear, outdoor clothing, camping goods and equipment together within the Paju Premium Outlets shopping center. The company's market capitalisation was ₩3.6 trillion at Friday's close.
