LG ELECTRONICS INC. (066570) said it would launch its ThinQ Claw home AI service before year end. Newsis reported Saturday that the company announced the timetable during a Friday briefing at Berlin's IFA consumer electronics show.
The service adds AI agent functions to the ThinQ On home hub and accepts commands through messaging apps. It can propose appliance settings before a user arrives home and activate them after the user agrees.
The company is conducting technical verification and said a Korean beta service could start as early as September. The company's market capitalisation was ₩32.8 trillion at Friday's close.
