Woori Financial Group Inc. (316140) launched its first DINNOlab Tech startup cohort on Thursday, Newsis reported that day. Four AI companies will work on financial tasks covering asset management and research alongside market analysis and automation.
Participants include Woori's banking and securities units and Tongyang Life Insurance, alongside the group's own technology subsidiary. The group will provide up to ₩30 million per project for technical validation and offer working space.
NAVER Corporation (035420) subsidiary NAVER Cloud and Amazon Web Services will provide cloud infrastructure support through the program. The company's market capitalisation was ₩24.5 trillion at Friday's close.
